TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Spruce It offers convenient month to month billing for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly services.
Our customers are important to us and it's important that our clients are satisfied with their service that they receive. In the event that you are not satisfied with your service, we will go over the desired areas that we not cleaned to your satisfaction. Spruce It offers the Spruce It Guarantee policy. We will provide you with the best experience possible within our guidelines and policy.
*All invoices must be paid immediately following your booking request. Once you request an appointment online one of our friendly customer service representatives will contact you to confirm your appointment via phone. All unpaid invoices are subjected to cancellation.
All cleaning cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the cleaning service scheduled date. If a cleaning is within the 24 hour period before the service is to be rendered, the customer may be charged up to 50% of the booking total, with a minimum cancellation fee of $50.
Cleaning cancellations include day-of rescheduling of a cleaning already in our system. You will be charged a fee of $50 due to us blocking out a spot in our schedule for your cleaning.
Recurring payments that fail may result in disruption of service or cancellation altogether without notice.
Appointment Cancellations without a 24 Hour Notice
All appointments that are not canceled within 24 hours from booking the appointment will not receive a refund for services. If you are not available to let your technician or cleaner in your home please notify us at the time of booking. In the event that we are unable to access your unit and you are not there the full amount of the service will be billed without the possibility of a refund.
We're here for you. If you are running late or if you have any questions or concerns you may reach our office or your cleaner via email, via phone or via our social media contact.
In the event that you cancel your appointment after 24 hours, a credit for services can be applied to your account or you may qualify for a 85% refund return.
All clients have the right to reschedule their appointment. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may cause you to reschedule your appointment. Life happens and we understand. In the event that you must reschedule your first appointment it's free under the conditions that you advise us at least 24 hours in advance. Any other rescheduled appointments will accumulate a $10 charge for each reschedule.
Our Terms & Our Commitment To You
In the event that Spruce It must provide the client with a reschedule date, they must advise the client at least 6 hours prior to the client's scheduled appointment. Spruce It will attempt to reassign a new Spruce It staff member to the original appointment. In the event that one is not available. Spruce It does reserve the right to reschedule an appointment at a later time/date that's convenient for the client. In the event that Spruce It must reschedule the client a $59 credit will be applied to their account for the inconvenience.
We offer our Spruce It Guarantee on our services. In the event that you are not 100% satisfied with the services, if you were present to review the Spruce It staff members work after completion and you are still unsatisfied we will schedule a housekeeper to go over any areas that were not cleaned to your expectations of your last service. If you are not completely happy with your recent cleaning service, notification of such event must be reported to Spruce It Services within 48 hours of service, by email or phone. Once we receive the notification, we will send another team to re-clean the areas of concern reported free of charge. Re-cleans must happen within 7 days of last service. If you are still unsatisfied, we will refund up to the entire service cost.
Please note that if you opt out of needing/wanting to do a walk through with your assigned Spruce It staff member or if you do not return home at the end of the appointment prior to the Spruce It staff member leaving your residence or place of business, you forfeit the Spruce It Guarantee Policy and thereby opt of our refund policy as well as the policy that allows a scheduled Spruce It staff member or team to return and service the areas that you were dissatisfied with. It's our clients’ full responsibility to ensure that they are present to check the Spruce It staff members work to ensure it is completed to their expectations.
All appointments are serviced based on the amount of bedrooms , bathrooms, and the type of cleaning that is chosen by the client. We understand that each home is unique & the condition of each home may differ that may pose challenges when coordinating the right services tailored for you. If you have purchased add-on services / additional services, those will be the first tasks cleaned during your cleaning appointment. Any other additional tasks may be cleaned with the additional time left for the appointment. Any additional hour past the cleaning time is subjected to an additional fee. If more than one Spruce It staff member is servicing your location, the price will increase by double the amount.
MOVE IN/OUT CLEANING TERMS
Only homes that do not have any furniture in the home can be serviced as a move in/out cleaning. If you still have furniture in your home we would advise you to book cleaning services after the furniture has been moved out. Standard cleaning tasks such as vacuuming couches, wiping down entertainment centers, or making beds will not be done for move in/ out cleaning services. Please be sure that all fragile or heavy items are moved out of the home. Spruce It is not responsible for theft or damage to any items in the home that may be left unattended.
APPROVING THE COMPLETED APPOINTMENT
To ensure the best service has been provided, please walk through your home to ensure that each room is cleaned to your expectations prior to your cleaner leaving you home. If there are any areas that you would like further cleaned to your standards that have not been done, the Spruce It staff member / technician will go over those areas at that time. Please note that Spruce It Cleaning staff members cannot be reliable for claims of uncleaned areas if:
- You opt out of needing/wanting to do a walk through with your assigned Spruce It staff member or technician.
- You do not return to the location that the cleaning or services were rendered, prior to the Spruce It staff member exiting the location.
- You return to the location where the cleaning or services were rendered, after the assigned cleaning time.
*There is a $15 gratuity charge for all cleanings.
*Refunds are reviewed by Spruce It after being notified and all documented information and re-cleaning have been received, rendered & completed.
The price for our services is quoted according to an estimate of room sizes to be given over the phone, email, or in a personal consultation with the client. We use average room sizes when giving quotes over the phone or email. Deep Stains and heavily soiled areas will require an additional service fee of $30 for each room. Our technician will try their best to remove all of the stains pointed out during the walkthrough. Please understand that some stains can be very difficult to treat - please also be advised that some stains that have have not be treated over time may be lightened, but cannot be fully removed.

REVISIONS AND ERRATA
The materials appearing on Spruce It Services’ web site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. BREAKAGE AND LOSS POLICY
If there is a breakage or loss during your cleaning, notification of such an event must be made to Spruce It Services within 48 hours of service, by email or phone. Once Spruce It Services receives the notification, a form will be sent to you to be filled out. Please note the form needs to be completed & received back to us within 30 days after the incident occurs.
HOARDING & HAZARDOUS CONDITION POLICY
If your property is deemed a hazardous cleaning situation that goes over and above our normal cleaning environment that is covered by our cleaning packages, our cleaning teams have the right to walk away. Upon such a service, you will be charged a $50 booking fee due to holding your space in our schedule.
